Magnum Force

Last week, I posted the score for "Dirty Harry". Here's the score for "Magnum Force", the first of the "Dirty Harry" sequels. Enjoy....

Harry Callahan: Well, I just work for the city, Briggs!
Lieutenant Briggs: So do I, longer than you, and I never had to take my gun out of its holster once. I'm proud of that.
Harry Callahan: Well, you're a good man, lieutenant. A good man always knows his limitations...

Dirty Harry

This is one of my favorite Clint Eastwood titles, right along with the other four in the "Dirty Harry" series. There need to be more police officers like this on the streets. The crime rate would probably drop drastically, but lawsuits against the cities would probably rise. Enjoy this soundtrack from an awesome cop movie....

[Harry Callahan has to explain why he shot a man]
Harry Callahan: Well, when an adult male is chasing a female with intent to commit rape, I shoot the bastard. That's my policy.
The Mayor: Intent? How did you establish that?
Harry Callahan: When a naked man is chasing a woman through an alley with a butcher's knife and a hard-on, I figure he isn't out collecting for the Red Cross!
[walks out of the room]
The Mayor: He's got a point.

Piledriver: The Wrestling Album 2

Thank God for torrent files. I saw this gem and latched onto it right away. This is the second release by the WWE. I had this on vinyl back in the good old days. I don't even think this was released on CD. This release helped to pave the way for the current slew of WWE collections featuring entrance themes of their performers. Take a listen to this one just to hear Vince McMahon (yes, that Vince McMahon) performing on one of the tracks. Other standout tracks on this album feature the entrance themes for The Honky Tonk Man and Demolition. Enjoy this otherwise unavailable gem....

The Wrestling Album

This is the first album that the WWE released in the mid-80's to "showcase" the talents of some of their superstars. This is worth just the listen to hear Roddy Piper doing one of the cuts on this 1985 out of print release. Enjoy....

Torchwood

I know I've neglected this blog for quite a while, but I've been hanging out at mt other blog. Here's the soundtrack for the first of the current "Doctor Who" spin-off's. It's a cool show, but there are some themes in it which may put off some viewers. Enjoy...

Captain Jack Harkness: [voiceover during first season opening] Torchwood: outside the government, beyond the police. Tracking down alien life on Earth, arming the human race against the future. The twenty-first century is when everything changes. And you gotta be ready.
